The 700 is not the last word in testers, and it may not test all tubes, but it is reliable, quick and relatively accurate.BUT, this tester is now as vintage as some of the equipment it is testing for, and is itself tubed and full of ancient capacitors. It should be recapped, recalibrated, and in some instances retubed, to perform at its best.
