Hi Rodney,Again a very valid point. It was nothing more then an oversight on my behalf - as what works in my amp - just might not work in others and this was after consulting the designer my particular amps by the way.
As mentioned again above please by all means understand which Tube may be subed in your amp prior to trying them out, as only said designers would know for certain. I seriously apologise is my recommendation caused others to quetion my knowledge of Tubes in general as I'm more then capable of reading many of the material that's out there and more often then not believe in doing rather in-depth research prior to pursuing or making recommendations without knowing the piece of Equipment which it's going to be used in.
Again my bag.
