thanks for all that info. I dropped the bias to 1.0v that raised the v+ to 375 before choke 361v after. The one tube that was a bit red is now ok. By the way the out put trannys are hammond 1650n not the stock 30 watt dynacos. When I bought this in 97 there was one channel dead, needed a new 15.6 ohm res no big deal also the power tranny always ran hot even before I did any mods. I never saw 420v -440v, that would be nice. So I might need a new power tranny afterall???, but over all thanks for helping me on the bias I always drew a question on that and will do more reading on that. The amp has now been running for 3.5 hours can still put hand on with out getting burned and bias v is 1.0 and holding. Would like to increase v+ another 60v that will be for another day and probably a new power tranny.Dave
