You need to bias your 6L6GC tubes in such a manner that the tubes won't dissipate more than 30 watts max, but more realistically, around 20 watts would be good.A Great answer, right? Changed your life forever, right? Yeah, probably not. You see, the answer I gave you is correct but without any context to give you perspective on your issue, it doesn't really help. In a similar way, knowing the kind of amp you have; the V+ at which it is operating or just the working voltage written on the side of the filter caps; might help us give you some help which might be useful to you.
However, having said all that, the answer is -50VDC. Make sure your output tubes aren't turning cherry red but the answer is -50VDC.
