Re: bias on 6l6gc

You need to bias your 6L6GC tubes in such a manner that the tubes won't dissipate more than 30 watts max, but more realistically, around 20 watts would be good.

A Great answer, right? Changed your life forever, right? Yeah, probably not. You see, the answer I gave you is correct but without any context to give you perspective on your issue, it doesn't really help. In a similar way, knowing the kind of amp you have; the V+ at which it is operating or just the working voltage written on the side of the filter caps; might help us give you some help which might be useful to you.

However, having said all that, the answer is -50VDC. Make sure your output tubes aren't turning cherry red but the answer is -50VDC.
