I doubt if you have anything to worry about. If the glass envelope has a hole in it the getter will turn white. Then the tube will be history. If that didn't happen, then the tube is fine. Minor defects in the glass will not render the tube unusable. However, that will be a weak spot in the glass so handle it with care in the future.roN
