Thank's for the help. I don't want to damage my MC30's . I have had them for several years and I just wanted to find some other tubes I have several 6l6g /a's & b's. But it sounds like I can not use anything below a C in the 6l6 family. Does that mean that no 5881's either? From what i can find they may not be strong enough either. I appreciate the el35 suggestion but, I am not comfortable modifying my amps.
