After swapping my NOS pair of 2A3, i am certain that one is defective. Both tubes will play okay upon startup but the defective one would fade slowly (1-2 mins) until almost into an inaudible level.
Just wondering what goes into this tube. I had experience with tubes with no heater or no sound at once. This one is new to me.
