Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. Now can I purchase a 6922 or a 6h23 and be safe? They seem to be the same tube. I have these horrible chinese tubes that came in a car tube preamp. I purchased this beast to play with it. The tubes, really have no real high end extension. They sound flat. But then again I am used to my tele's in my van alstine preamp. MY home rig sounds incredible with the teles in it. On the car tube preamp there is a little window that you can see the tubes inside and it glows a Deep red, very brightly, much more than my teles. I know I know- differnt animal. I need to get these cheapies out quickly. I dont need tele's in the car, just something decent, I wont be able to tell the difference at 60mph anyway, but the tubes included are pretty horrendous. I am just hoping that it is not the circuit that I am not liking.....Please help :-)This is a link to the beast http://www.soundstream.com/sub/products_processors.html
