RE: vintage Advent Legacy speaker, Dome tweeters

It's been a long time since I owned them, but I believe the tweeters were off-set to the left as you say. Supposedly to simplify manufacturing. The original tweeters were called "fried eggs" as they did not resemble a normal dome. They were covered by a screen. That may have changed to a simple dome in the later years of manufacture. If I heard a brand new pair of Large Advents today, I don't think I'd be disappointed. As I remember them being a fun listen with all genres. They did need a little juice to get them cook'in though. I remember driving them with a 65 watt Kenwood integrated.
