I just received these speakers last week, I was considering felt diffraction rings for the tweeters.
I just notice that the 1" Dome tweeters are both offset to the left..about 1" from the center line of the woofer.
That does not seem correct.
Do I have 2 left speakers, instead of a matched pair?
I am thinking that one tweeter should be offset to the left and the other to the right.
I may be able to just remove one tweeter plate and rotate it 180 Degrees and make them mirror images.
The tweeter is a 1" dome, on a 5"x 6.5" plate.
If I am able to do this with no baffle mods (best case),I am thinking the
left speaker tweeter is offset to the left, right speaker offset to the right..Correct?
I am going to recap, change the speaker terminals from spring loaded clips to good banana jacks, and considering cabinet spikes.
I have them setting on ac vibration pads now.
What do you think?
