Eric Alexander has a reputation for having very thin skin he blatantly overreacts to simple criticism of his speakers. About five years ago he went after YouTube reviewer New Record Day. It was embarrassing for Eric he did not like Rons unfavorable review and proceeded to throw a hissy fit like a 6-year-old child would.
He worked for Eminence along with Clayton Shaw of spatial Audio and Sean Casey of Zu Audio and he has been jealous of their success for years. He has argued with paying customers that were not happy with their speakers which is well documented by the customers on other audio forums.
None of his speakers have had the success of his peers and it drives him crazy. He also races cars 1/4 mile and is a drummer don't know if he still plays in a band but maybe he should just concentrate on designing speakers.
Other YouTube reviewers called him a speaker designing genius which is just as crazy as calling Elon Musk a genius.
And calling his Solitude speakers dipole is hilarious the SB acoustics drivers he uses in the circular array are all closed back LMAO!!! And he has designed possibly the goofiest speakers ever made the Bonneville which are 69" tall 48" wide and 20" deep they are 32 cubic foot cabinets and at $20000 are a joke.
But I will say this about Eric he designed speakers for 30 years before finding a design to bring to market. So, he stuck with it and has found success, and even though he is known to be a blatant narcissist I still wish him success.
