The horn pictured is an excellent 1.0" horn, but not as sophisticated sounding as the other throw away MF1-X. With TD-2002, you could cross your Peavey horn painted in a new color at 6db@400Hz at 20W. However, there are not too many horns that synergize with the TD-2002 phase plug design.
The OEM TAD TD-4001 has a phase plug with tremendous compatibility options in my extent library of horns far from the completely beaten down 'DIY audiophile intelligentsia approved' selection of pathways for folks to(ward) their idea of 'North'.
Currently, what are considered* the audio system design PHILOSOPHIES of Highest Merit? To whom personally, and for what reasons? 'A guiding philosophy that led to an invention that gained applause from the flock' afterwards becomes sociologically unconsciously accepted without much room for further critical inquiry. We all want to personally benefit from the prior works of others. With questionable audiophile philosophies regarding the most desirable End Point destinations in sound quality, where is the flock actually 'knowingly' departing towards? We get what we deserve.
What IS 'North', and according to Whose presumably sophisticated standards..? Can I independently validate any particular reviewer has a good sense of 'North'?
I completely disagree with the use of OMA conical horns.
