peppy m., be grateful you've never blown any tweeters along your audio pathway. Have regrettably blown up quite a few, from Advent Fried Eggers to Phillips to Pioneers to Sansuis to Utahs. Par-tayed out until "they're dead, Jim"! Back in da stoned age, several friends blew out their instrument speakers in similar over-powering fashion! They eventually switched their Fender amp-n-combo speakers out for Celestions because they withstood more abuse than Jensens-n-Oxfords-n-Utahs! Y'all aint bein' snarky, peppy m., rather liberal with the truth instead!!!
