You'll be sorry. Designing a speaker is far more complex than most people realize. You cannot just swap drivers or you will waste time and money.
If you have little or no acoustic treatment this would be the first place I'd work. Different speakers is next. Don't bother with anything else until these two have been worked out. And whatever you do don't ruin those speakers. You'll kill the value and ruin the sound if you swap drivers.
