I don't know how these speakers directly compares to other speakers mentioned here. But these are seriously nice speakers. But I wouldn't use them in a room larger than 10x20'You definataly get more weight in pounds per dollar! These are heavy!
Also they can be filled with lead/sand shot. Some speakers out there are very light. If I had a choice between light small QUAD 22L speakers and the Usher CP-6311 speakers...thats a tough choice. But for the money I would think the Ushers are a much better speaker for your money. The only other serious choice would be the SPendor S5e. Not sure which of the two would come out on top depending on your system.
