Oh you are a sly one

Just reading the header...I'd say one sweet spot that was as large as possible. But when you phrase it another way you open up a can of worms.

Think of a live musical event that caused you to sit comatose in rapt attention. Then compare that with one that made it impossible to stay in your seat.

Now if that girl singing A cappella makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, and that does it for you, then maybe you like the sweet spot/full range driver/set thing. But if you want music to make you boogie and get up and move maybe some controlled directivity is in order?
