If purchased in these price ranges...Apogee Stage $450 - $650
Soundlab Pristine II $950 - $1250
B&W N805 $900 - $1200
Kef 104.2 $740 - $1000
B&W 801 Matrix (not your dodgy pre-matrix 801) $1200 - $1600
Klipsch Forte or Cornwall $500 - $700
Any of these choices can give lots of pleasure with not rish if you pair them with the right equipment.
I currently own the first 3 on my list and also own the Gallo Nucleus Reference 3, but will hold back a recomendation on that one based on time to break in and uncertainty on price of new product.
