I just do not see why they do not measure according to the positioning recommendation of the manufacturers. Rather than interpreting the way it might sound if you were here or there. Looking at the initial frequency graph and seeing a peak in the bass implies that it actually has too much bass - but wait that was measured in a way no one ever listens so now we must read the measring guru who "claims" never fear if you are in a room then it will look flat -- then why not do what 99.999999% of listeners would do and measure the freaking thing in room. Oh it's because each room will have a different effect...OK but good speakers should work well in most all rooms. (This is a general comment not levelled at the 989 in any way).
