I moved the SL700s to the living room. Now, this room does loose bass, whereas my listening room is treated with real traps to bring the bass back. Hooked it up with a Leak Stereo 50/Croft preamp/Naim CD5 - and its much brighter sounding than it did in the main listening room..Amazing how much difference the room makes..No chance of room treatments here, so I'll probably fool around with tube rolling and try a gentler CD player..and maybe a subwoofer.
