Don't get me wrong, I think the Alon Lotus Elite is a great speaker. However, in my new listening room in my new house I could not get them to image the way I was used to. I struggled with it for about 4 months and decided to take a chance on the Ohms. To my surprise the Ohms sounded very similar to the Alons but with a deeper and higher sound stage and a much wider sweet spot. Believe me the pinpoint accuracy is there with great isolation of the various instruments being played. I'm actually hearing some things in my recordings that I never remember hearing before(subtle behind the scene things layered in the recording), which also puzzled me. This may be due to no crossover between lows and mids. With the Walsh driver there is only a cross over between it and the tweeter. Anyway, I'm a happy camper and the match they make with my Pass Labs XA 100's is truely awesome.
