1) yes - coffee table, but a low one - removal has no significant impact2)hardwook with rug
3)wall clearance is 4 plus feet - considering treating first reflections (and traps maybe) - needs to be WAF for family room - I have mocked up some first reflection treatments - seemed to improve speaker disappearing, but wat too ugly to stay
4)very comfy high back sectional - have listened with cart chair - the difference not worth the loss of comfort - no close by rear wall
5) I do coverthe TV (between speakers) for music listening sometimes - seems to help the speakers disappear
