You can certainly hear Paul's influences.
But I think he has developed a very personal style which is also very australian. In The way that Dylan 1965 "sounds" like New York... OK someone tell me I'm wrong!
As those discs are expensive, I could probably buy a bunch of them at the aussie shop price which at the moment I can get for about $7.00US, if any are wanted. If a few people want them I could send a package over.
I absolutely love some of those songs...
Evrything's truened to White (now this has also been turned into the film Jindabyne), Deeper Water, First Time Ever, even Bradman although I have no time for cricket.
Paul is a living national treasure.
I am still thinking of all 4 nights here in Brisbane in a couple of months... its barely 5 minutes walk away.
