When I first heard Rush, back in the '70s, I didn't care for the band.... I think it was Geddy's voice.... But as a freshman in college, I was listening to someone's audio system, and I then realized, this band wasn't bad.... It's pretty good.... It's **damm** good.....I then bought my first Rush album- "Signals"..... And the rest was history. (I still have this very vinyl copy today. After over a hundred plays, it still sounds pristine, save for the noise between songs.)
And after attending my first Rush concert in 1986, and blown away by both the performance and the sound, it became my all-time favorite rock band.
