Yep - I've always loved Joe's deadpan sense of humor.After that, they launched into "Take A Look Around" (which was worth the price of ticket alone) - unbelievable solo - I mean he doesn't have the Eddie or Ignve lightning speed, but his timing, tone and accuracy to the "Yer Album" was incredible.
Later on in the show (I can't remember exactly when), he did a little riff that sounded like the intro to "Over And Over" from "But Seriously Folks"
I sure wish I could've seen him in Boulder back in the early '70s. I'll bet that was a treat. I was 6 and 7 when "Rides Again" and "Thirds" came out - I still have my older sister's LPs.
