LOL Mark:As to "bonus cats", we have had three of them so far here.
One old male who was feral, and we got him to acclimate. Put him down last year after about 3 years, the vet said he was 20+ years old. It was his time. At least the old boy lived out his last years in comfort.
A young pregnant feral female the old maile brought home. We fixed her up at a shelter. She and her kittens all found good homes.
The young feral female we have now. Some folks next street over here in Sunny Gardner moved and conveniently "forgot" their cat.
She had gone completely feral. We started putting out food for her, and in 6 months she decided to adopt us. She's still here now, turned out to be an awesome cat.Best,
