AMG does credit him for drums, actually. Their review is a bit harsh, I think. Seems like it was more of a one-off side project done for fun than anything else. Sometimes reviewers don't like it when people have fun with music. Myself, I'm not for superstar egofest extravaganzas, but Moon's a guy I'd allow a little slack for. His tremendous accomplishments eclipse the horrendous influence his work wrought.
It's a throwaway rec, but a must-listen for the curiosity factor. There's a bit of a jovial, Captain Sensible type of sensibility. I hear a little T. Rex in some of this. A deluxe edition? Seems unnecessary.
