Some bands who never achieved that level of success have just carried on as before endlessly recycling their maybe one or two hits. Some, like The Searchers (at least until a few years ago) were a kind of rolling greatest hits, and it wasn't thought very cool to like them, which is a bit sad as they were just doing what they do.
But thsi kind of stuff, after the LOve Forever Changes and Brian Wilson Smile tours is pretty strange.
I never even figured those other tours... The Beach Boys never even recorded Smile and Arthur Lee spent decades whinging that the string and brass arrangements were done without his approval and ruined his album.
I guess (for whatever reasons)some people are stuck...
