I remember their shows as LOUD!!!!A great band that, unfortunately, grew less interesting as time went on - after about 1972 or so which is when I heard them live. I consider their "Live Album" as one of the finest live rock records of all time. They had a refreshing R&B/Soul perspective, a very distinct guitar sound (cheapo Marshall) and two pretty damn good singers. Their first 5 or 6 records were phenomenal! After that, not so good, IMHO. Still, I'd certainly list them in the Top 100 - no question. But hey, a VH1 list is still an opionion and there's is as valid as mine... and vice versa.
