I have been listening to this disk non-stop for the past 4 days. This is a rare disk where I liked every song on first listen; with 28 songs that is a major feat. I like the producton and the songs are killer. I am finding that I like a lot of Rick Rubin produced disks.I think this disk will be a massive hit and will be around the airways for at least 2 years. The closet comparison for me in terms of quality and artistry would be The Smashing Pumpkins "Siamese Dream". A brilliant disk that took a few listens too before I warmed up to it.
I have recently bought a lot of fantastics disks. They are in order of preference as follows:
1) RHCP - Stadium Arcadium
2) Prince - 3121
3) Pearl Jam (new disk)
3) Mary J Bligh (new disk)
4) Mark Knopler and Emmylou Harris - All the Road Running
4) The Little Willies
