Board,I see it brought up AGAIN on the Music board (this time, Haley's "Rock Around the Clock"). I know MOST of the important music of the Beatles and I'm familiar with some of these pre-Beatles hit songs by Elvis, Haley, et al. and I TELL YOU: I DON'T HEAR (HARDLY) ANY SIMILARITY.
Can someone please edify these deaf ears of mine and cite the exact song that influenced the song(s)/era of the Beatles writing. I want to see some *actual* parallels!
