fun of seeing what your next response will be. I don't recall "slamming the general public." I only stated my opinion that I did not like the group and used some adjectives to describe "my opinion.". I may have an opinion who I think (read slowly, I think) is the best songwriter but certainly didn't offer it on this thread. You are correct in stating..."that with Pink Floyd...they are either loved or hated." And, I hate them.
Your first post is downright preposterous and almost unintelligible. It has to be the first time I have heard PF are "pioneers" in sound effects and recording and psychodelic music. I had the album Ummagumma and the screaming was, well, kind of cool....when I was 14 years old. If this Roger Waters was/is a guitar legend, it's news to me. By the way, what exactly is a "man's style" of guitar playing? Also, what exactly is an atomosphere? It must be very hard to achieve this inasmuch as it may not be a real word. Perhaps that's why you said it is "much harder than it sounds, trust me."
You seem to be wound rather tightly. Is it so bad that I don't like Pink Floyd's music? Here are a few groups I like:
The Beatles
George Harrison
Jackson Browne
The Allman BrothersFeel free to say you hate them; it will not bother me in the least.
