The question had nothing to do with how much a musicians playing varied over time.>>Even the band 'Boston' sounds more varied than he does!!!
Personally I like some of Claptons albums but Layla isn't one of them - if they all sounded the same I'd like them all equally. Unlike Boston who's albums I dislike pretty much equally.
So I disagree - Boston albums all suck the same, Clapton on the other hand has good albums mixed in with those that suck.
Give me rhythm or give me death!
