I was at one of the Meriwhether post shows (1989). I didn't see many JGB concerts, but that one was the best I saw. I have the Kean College (1981), the "after midnight" sequence is really good (but for the cheesy keyboards). Garcia is excellent here, but this is not the best band he had. Melvin seals is great on the '89 disc.
