It's hard to believe that the CBS TV show, Hawaii Five-O, ran from 1968 to 1980. When we were born in the early-to-mid 1970s, that show was actually current.

The Ventures' instrumental, "Hawaii Five-O," was released in 1969, making it a whopping 55 years-old.

Hawaii is where my ancestors and current relatives came from. Growing up in the 80s (the Polaroid above was from the late-80s), we hardly heard any radio stations air The Ventures' "Hawaii Five-O." In fact, we usually heard it at parties, where the host had to play it. Well, here in 2024, you still hear it at parties and restaurants. But nowadays, you can use the internet, to call it up.
