in the Beethoven and Mozart Turkish. Perhaps not through the whole concert, but his mannerisms and stiff conducting somewhat detract. This Khovanshchina seems to be part of the video. I will have to review it again. The sound is quite limited.By contrast, on the Bell Telephone Hr tape, he is definitely not stiff, but alive and vigorous. The stuff on the Great Conductors of the Century Vol 1 is also great and he's alive as well.
