Hampton Hawes' "Live at Montmartre" disc. It's not only my favorite Hawes record, it's one of my favorite jazz discs of all time. It got horrible reviews but I think it's incredible. I seem to be alone on this one. It's the one from 1971 with Michael Carvin and Henry Franklin. Yeah, I know it has that old Herb Albert chestnut "This Guy's in Love with you" but it also has a killer version of Shorter's "Footprints" that still gives me chills.
