Generally, I find EMI recordings very good, much to my surprise. That gives you a lot to choose from. Hyperion and Chandos usually do a good job, although this is just a rule of thumb. I've never been a big fan of DG These are general comments. My suggestion is to get copies from your local library. That allows you to take a particular version for a test drive.
