The police say most studies show guns are not a good defense against intruders, usually they are used by someone who knows the victim, often the gun owner is the perp or the victim of his own gun. I've got two big Rottweilers to protect me instead. They are trained to kiss burglers to death. They get a lot of practice on me and everyone who walks through the door.With about 3000 cds and 3000 more vinyls, many of them recently inherited, I've got a lot of listening in front of me. With about 10,000 video tapes (many unmarked) and about 10,000 books, I'd say I will not live to see the day when I have nothing new to watch, read, or listen to. Just sorting and cataloging them is overwhelming.
