Popularity.... She is probably the most popular of the modern day female jazz singers. Count yourself fortunate that your female friend actually went to your music collection and picked out something that she wanted to hear. Most of the females I have met over the years have don't have a serious interest in music let alone the Jazz genre. Look at it this way...she could have asked if you had any BRITNEY.... Smile....Happy Thanksgiving!!
