Here's a good and somewhat nostalgic look at the history of Tower Records, in particular the Columbus & Bay store in SF. (The author is wrong about the sign outside the store, however--it said "open 368 days a year", not 365.) I remember when that store first opened--I was a young teenager then--and all LPs were $2.66. (!) It was a favorite hangout for me on weekends (still is) and I've enjoyed countless hours there rummaging through all the LP (and now CD) bins. I'm gonna miss it......Russell
