Read really closely, now, Guy, here's my last attempt to get an extremely simple fact through what must be an incredibly thick head: There is no more sophisticated synonym for "favorite."So I can't offer a more sophisticated substitute. I have to "offer up nothing." Because there isn't anything to offer up.
You call my first paragraph disingenuous, yet you don't seem to have perceived its meaning.
I gave you the only alternative to those muttonheads who for whatever reason don't like the word "favorite." Recast the sentence. It's that simple.
Do you really think there's a word out there that everyone is hiding from you? When your questions are as silly as this, you are not worth the trouble; it would have been much easier to just give you the word and hope you'd go away.
There is no such word. Get over it!
