I have "If You're Feeling Sinister" and "The Boy With The Arab Strap" on vinyl. Both sound fine as far as modern pop recordings go. Can't imagine that later pressings would be any different from mine especially since they are pressed in such low quantities. As a matter of fact, my copy of "Sinister" may not be a first pressing, as I bought it only a couple of years ago. If you like the music, get them and don't worry about whether you're achieving that nth degree of sound quality.
