GR was a popular opening act during the early 2000's in the live jam scene. The vocalist was Taylor McFerrin, son of Bobby McFerrin whose insanely popular a cappella hit from the late 80's we will never be able to purge from our memories. The guy was talented, particularly with beat-boxing, but I think his freestyle skills left something to be desired. They were fun though.
