Music today really doesent suck, just turn off the radio

I will say that Muic today DOESNT suck, Just turn off the radio and vistit a music store Like FYE and Pre-veiw the album of the artists you hear on the radio before you say that they actually suck.

Most of these people have only heard the singles on the radio and get tired of tem being played over and over which I agree they are overplayed, but there isan option to that, Buy an integrated amp,change the channel or switch from FM STEREO to CD/AUX or buy a satelite tuner.

I admit I like some of the bands that people say suck, I will agree that they are generic sounding but not anything really bad. I like artists , Coldplay, My Chemical romance, Fallout Boy, Nickelback, Alter Bridge, Lifehouse, Creed, Scott stapp, gym Class heros, Kelly clarkson ,lifehouse, T.I., Timbaland, Nelly furtado. ETC.

One thing i hear is this stigmatism that certain artists have on them anc cant shake off.

If you listen to Maroon 5, good charlotte, coldplay or the Killers you must be gay. I mean WTF is that sapposed to mean, just because I listen to an artist that actually sings about positive and emotion things and stuff like that doesnt make me gay. I just like othter music besides music that talks about having random unprotected anal and vaginal sex with women and shooting people in the head for making fun of me and stealing my money, or screaming DIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE and AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and talking about satanic riturals and cutting myself doesnt make me or anyone else for that matter gay.

I have a freind, who is a BIG rock Fan, He loves Megadeth, Bob marley, lamb of god, Korn, Led zeppelin, Jimi Hindrix, 3 doors down, metallica, Pantera,tori Amos,Alanis morsette, ozzy ozborne, king crimson, billy joel, the 70's R&B the doors etc. (sounds to me that he needs to be "secretly" hooked up with a vintage sound system)
He has an IPOD and a HUGE CD collection. (I gotta hook him up with some real headphones though) Hint Hint....

He does indeet try to get me to listen to more music than the poppy stuff I prefer and I will Admit I like some of the stuff he listens to.
He does think its weird that I like teen girl-pop like vanessa hudgens and the like ut he respects y preference, H esays he doesnt like some of the bands he hears onthe radio because the hits are so poppy and I will dmit that some of the bands do seem to sing a lot about heartbreak, teen angst, and love.

He thinks the best music HAS to talk bout, LIFE, politics, love (somtimes), Apathy, Depression Lonliness, Sex ad violence which I do agree. I loves the heavy stuff and I LOVE the soft stuff like Maroon 5, Paramore, Kelly clarkson, Carrie Underwood good charlotte and Linkin park (I hope he doesent read that one) and various other "pop" artists
