Back in the mid-late '90s I first saw her live at a small club in San Diego. She wasn't that well known yet but it was packed. I found out about the concert at the last minute so called a couple of friends to attend with me. I'd liked her music already but that live performance made me a bigger fan.

Regarding audience reactions during performances, frequent rude activities are one thing that has driven me away from attending as many as I once did. OK, growing old is another reason now. ;^)
