My company supplied me with Mac laptops when I was working but never had a need for more than 16 GB of memory. The Mac memory management is excellent if you do need to swap to SSD. It is lightning fast. Swapping is not like the old days of spinning HDD where you took a noticeable performance hit.
I have all of these Apps open and no swapping. Parallels/Win10, Firefox, Chrome, Thunderbird, Roon, PowerPoint.
Here I have additionally opened 20 photo images and only now is it beginning to swap.

Wife will never need more memory for her email, browser, and MS Word.
