I'm running a software called OPAL on the Raspberrypi, its a single purpose OS which can be fitted to run anything as an endpoint like [Roon, HQ NAA, DLNA, Squeezelite etc]I've been using the RPi for years in different configurations and with all the usual software, piCore, RoPieee, Dietpi, etc. I think I've heard the best that it can give.
Right now I have the Luxman NT-07 transport on loan which uses the Lumin U2 software and core hardware engine [processor]. Luxman fitted it with its own powersupply etc.
