FUD RE: Found an interesting article

Yeah. As usual, there's FUD to be found if we get anxious about stuff like this.

In the 21st Century, "Bits Are Bits" unless we're running *really poor* equipment these days! Obviously we're not going to see significant bit-errors otherwise we would not be able to trust any financial transactions online. And testing over the years basically have shown that jitter is a non-issue in modern asynchronous interfaces like USB, ethernet, etc. Even modern S/PDIF (TosLink optical and coax) is not a problem with jitter.
