There probably wont be much of a sound difference going to the 20 bit Denon. What I was referring to was when I went from the 20 bit Muse Dac, which is still well regarded, to the Non Sampling Scott Nixon. The sound difference between the 20 bit 8X oversampled sound and a non sampled sound are like night and day. I think if your looking to make a change from the Denon any cd player and the Monica2 will give you a change. But first you should decide do I dislike the Denon and what about it do I dislike. Or am I making a change to try something new.
