I have two JD100s that get 6-8 hours of play a day on average and they have been running since this product was introduced. One unit is stock and the other is one of my modified units.
The modified unit has never even glitched. No problems with the drawer, never an "error" reading and every disc ever played work perfectly. I have left it on for everal days at a time without problem as well.
The stock unit was a piece I replaced for a customer. Once in a while, it sees a disc it doesn't like and there is some type of "rubbing" sound. The same disc will do it everytime and it is not random. I notice the disc that rub have a heavier label on them so I am assuming a balance (balance of the disc) issue.The remote is among my all time favorites and I have never had any problems.
